Villars-Gryon – the Alps at
their best.

Villars-Gryon is located in the heart of the Vaud Alps on a natural balcony with southern exposure at an altitude of 1,300 metres and rising to 3,000 metres on the nearby glacier of Les Diablerets which is also linked to the resort in ski season. The traditional village enjoys a splendid view of the Alpine summits and surrounding area, extending to Mont Blanc.

The authentic ancient chalets of the old village are under official protection. At the back of the valley rises famous Miroir d'Argentine (2,324 m), dominating the Solalex site, where gastronomic or terroir cuisine is on offer in two mountain restaurants. The resort offers sports, relaxation and cultural activities for families and visitors of all ages, far from pollution and noise.

The Villars-Gryon resort area has carefully protected its village ambience, despite strong tourism development, thanks largely to building codes and policies intended to maintain architectural unity.

Old ancestral chalets sit alongside recent constructions in wood, all of which preserves a harmony that blends perfectly into the natural setting. The presence of numerous protected zones also allows nature to remain intact. Guests therefore find a typical mountain atmosphere, that lends itself to relaxation and renewal with a superb view.

Located in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, Villars-Gryon is one of the closest Swiss mountain resorts to Geneva (115 km, a 1 hour and 20 minute drive), access is easy, by car or by public transportation. Indeed, Lausanne is only 45 minutes away; Montreux-Vevey, 30 minutes and the shores of Lake Geneva, 20 minutes.
